Posted on December 7th, 2014
It’s been over a year since I’ve posted any news updates… so needless to say, I’m a bit behind.
A lot has happened in that year. I’d love to give all the updates here now, but there are too many of them, and I can’t remember them all.
But what I can do is update with the recent news.
The Fleet Activity Award has returned to Delta Fleet for 2 consecutive months after Space Fleet broke a 18 month consecutive streak, which set a new FSF Record for the longest Fleet Activity Award Streak.
The Community Activity Award was given to the Shattered Universe game. Back in March, they were finally unable to beat their own posting record, and lost after a 21 month streak for CAA, beating the previously recorded record of 3 months.
In the months it wasn’t won by Shattered Universe, Other Delta Fleet games managed to hold onto it for most of the time. Stargate SG-10 won in June and July, while Firewall won in March and May. April was won by some of the newer blood in Delta Fleet, Mass Effect: Paradise Lost, and October, September, and August were taking by sims in other fleets.
For SIm of the Month, Delta Fleets newest game, Mass Effect: Paradise Lost was awarded that distinction for Febuary of 2014. Stargate SG-10 won it once again in September, winning it for that month two years in a row now, and Stargate Command took home the prize in July.
Currently another Delta Fleet game is in the runnings for Simulation of the Month, so show your support for Delta Fleet, and go vote for Shattered Universe for SotM!Delta Fleet News Tweet

I know I missed last month for the news, but I’m back with some updates.
First off, Delta Fleet has managed to hold the Fleet Activity Award for both November, and December. That brings us up to 10 consecutive wins. 1 more and we’ll tie the previous consecutive record, (Also held by Delta Fleet) So let’s keep up the great work!
For the 19th consecutive month in a row, the USS Ghost Rider has held on to the Community Activity Award. Great job to the members of the USS Ghost Rider!
Fleet Executive Officer Changes
It is with regret that I must announce that due to Real Life issues FSF Lynx is no longer the Fleet Executive Officer.
FSF Ward has agreed to take her place, and has been approved by the FSF Administration, and Fleet Command, and is our new Fleet Executive Officer. So if you have any issues or complains, feel free to bring them to him 😉
Simulation of the Month
One of our own, Mass Effect: Paradise Lost is in the running for SotM this month, show your support for a fellow Delta Fleet game, and vote for them for SotM. It’s been a couple months since a Delta Fleet game took this title, let’s bring it back to Delta Fleet!
It is with regret that I must announce that Star Trek: Andromeda has been approved to transfer back to Alpha Fleet. ST: Andromeda has been an active member of Delta Fleet for as long as I’ve been in Fleet Command, and reading their summaries, and occasionally visiting the game was always a highlight of the week/month. They will be missed.
However, there is still cause for celebration, as the USS Aquinas will be moving back home to Delta Fleet. Many moons ago, the USS Aquinas was launched, and spent a lot of time here in Delta Fleet, now they are coming home.Delta Fleet News Tweet

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Delta Fleet is getting a brand new game, and with that a new host is added our team of hosts.
If you see FSF Ward around, be sure to give him a warm welcome.
FSF Ward and I have been working on a new game, Mass Effect: Paradise Lost. This will bring the Mass Effect genre to the FSF, and is also incorporating some new ideas into the sim including a Leveling / XP system and an Economy. Look for its launch on November 17, 2013.
For more information contact the games hosts, FSF Dragon, and FSF Ward.
In other news, Delta Fleet has once again taken the Fleet Activity Award keeping it here in Delta Fleet for the 8th Consecutive Month. The USS Ghost Rider has also won another Community Activity Award, extending its record again. If you see FSF Dragon or FSF Lynx around, be sure to congratulate them.
